PSYCHATRIC PROBLEMS ARE THE MAJOR CAUSES OF SUICIDES!

Psychatric problems is now world spread from rich to poor ,from small and larges societies .It seems to be a normal society with some members with psychatric problems.
About 90% of people who commit suicide have diagnosable mental disorders and the majority of them haven't being treated propery. These disorders include depression ,borderline personality disorder and substance and alcohol abuse.
Depression is the common diagnosis in commiting suicide since atleast 60% of the people who committed suicide are depressed by the time of their death.
The major symptoms associated with depression include:The feeling of sadness during most of day ,everyday. Usually they lost interests in many activities ,such as lack apetite for food, sexual feelings and sexual interactions among numerous poor performances. Their sleeping habits change suddenly as they can sleep too much or too little , they can wake up too early or too late feeling very weak or tired. They oftenly have a feeling worthless,guilty and hopelessness,for example with unwanted pregnancy or after the death of a loved one or fear of failing examinations or being tested and found HIV positive.
Some feel irritable and restless all the time ,whilst having difficulties in concentrating and decision making. Hence most of them has repeated thoughts of death and suicide attempts.
It is difficulty to see a depressed person ,why ?
Depressed people are pretenders in most of their actions. They strive to appear as everything is okay because they fear badly embarassed by admitting that they are depressed and they associate admission with weakness . They regard the feelings association with depression and aren't able to recognise it as a disease.
Depression is very difficulty to diagnose especially to those people with other illnesses.But it can be treatable so as suicide is preventable.
People who are at most risky are those who are depressed ,especially those older who are living lonely and most of them are males.
An estimated 40%-100% of people who commit suicide have borderline personality disorders.
The symptoms are very emotional and have mood swings. They could be depressed at one time and very aggressive ,fearful ,guilty and hopelessness. They have a high level of impulsivity and are into unstable ,high intensity relationships. Most of people risked of these boarderline characters are those with a history of suicidal attempts.
Alcoholism and substence abuse cause about 15% of the abusers to commit suicide as they are influenced by acohol or other drugs abuse. The abusers lower the threashold of suicidal behaviour especially if taken by adolescents who agraviates suicidal behaviours.
Alcoholism is a disease which led to loss of control over drinking and are not able to stop without help. whilst substance abuse is taken of some drugs in the wrong quantities or at the wrong time. This later caused physical or mental disturbance in the case of the abuser. Substance abuse varies immensely between cultures and individuals hence substance abuse may be legally consumed illegal substance according to the laws given by community or country, or medically abuse of drugs which caused bodily harm and has an effect to the personal health which can either be immediate or long term effect or socially substance abused as it later interferes with personal social abilities to threaten others' normal way of life.
Suicide attempts of every adult for every completed suicide attempts are between 10-20 of suicidal attempts. Most of them commits or attempts suicide within a year. The availability of methods also precipitates suicides or suicide attempts of which 70%-90% of attempted and completed suicides are as caused by medicine or drug overdose.
