Many people divorced, lost job or business opportunuites, has retarded social interactions because of halitosis.
Oral hygiene emphasise the concepts of keeping our mouth thoroughly cleaned in order to reduce the bad odours produced when we talk with others. If we produce a bad breath people avoid talking to us ,Lovers avoid kissing us and some even opt to arrange for divorce especially when the problem developed in the wedlock.
A certain Zimbabwe girl said it out through a public broadcaster that I failed to get married because of the bad breath ,which caused many of her male partners to avoid her to continue with relationships simply because of bad mouth smell which is even a problem to her alone ,she said.
Therefore halistosis is negatively affect the way we interact with others in the society business opportunities , social sporting ,affections ,sexual relationships, and many more.
Halitosis is defined as bad breath,morning breath or bad odour produced from our mouth. Medical practitioners discovered that halistosis is mainly as a result of food plaques and sugars which left between and on our teeth which is then consumed by bacteria. The bacteria are chief agents of halitosis problem in our bad breath.
The plaques and sugars are providers of conducive environment for these bacteria to bleed within our mouths caused us to produce bad breath. Furthermore halitosis can be caused by underlying medical condition of lungs ,stomarch and blood stream.
Some foods like garlic and onion also if eaten especially at it raw state produce bad breath,although it is very temporary. Smoking cigerattes ,alcoholic mints and alcoholic mouthwash led us to halitosis problem and negatively impacts on our social and business interactionism.
The dry mouth (xerostomia) makes halitosis to be severe because our mouth lacks its natural cleaning system by use of saliva. Saliva is an alkaline agent which neutralised acidic sugars and plaques left by food we ate ,this increases bacteria reproduce rapidly cause us to produce bad breath.The drugs like caffeine found in many bevarages including coffee and tea can also make our mouth to be dry so as to promote the bleeading of bacteria.
One may say I don't know if a halitosis is a problem to me? or I just see people not want to talk me nearby or they always avoid me when talking I don't know why?
This is the problem of halitosis which can be examined by put a fore finger in your mouth and after few minutes you smell it. Or just ask someone especially close friend to comment on your breath. After agreed in yourself to have a problem of halitosis try the following to reduce it:
♦Make it your regular practice to brush teeth ,tongue after every meal or atleast twice a day. Usually during the morning and afternoon. When brushing make use of good strong teeth brush together with recommended fresher toothpaste. Mostly toothbrush last less than three months . After this period lapses there is need to buy new one. Because of economical hardships some lack use of toothpaste ,it is advisable to use ash or soda. Soda is good for oral health therapy and reduces drastically the bad smell out of our mouth. However I witnessed a lot of people who developed teeth problems only by irregular use of toothpaste as it can weakens the strength of teeth if impropery applied on irregular basis.Dropping pepermint and tea tree oil on the tongue help to reduce bacteria in our mouth because of there anti-bacterial properties.
♦Regular check ups to the dentists help us to have good advices for us to monitor and reduce levels of bacteria which cause us to have bad breath.
♦Chlorophyll is a natural fresher in our mouth it can be found in various vegetables and other herbs such as persely ,sage,carrots ,cabbage mint, fruits or raw celery which you can eat regulary to have a good breath.Some trees branches in Africa like the msasa ,hissing tree species found in Zimbabwe are traditionally good at cleaning teeth and tougue to left our mouth refreshing well.
♦Chew sugarless gums and drink a lot of water to avoid your mouth to be dry.
*The maladies of halitosis can be avoided so that we can improve on our smiles ,friendships ,companionship and other several interactions with others to express our affections ,love and general ideas.
